Dakine Choruis Shorts
July 11, 2009
Dakine is really rocking it this year with a huge line up of multisport clothing that can hit the trails or the pub. The Dakine Chorus Short is made of some super tough nylon, that after weeks on the trails, at work and at the pub still look like brand new. They are definetly built tough.
The Chorus features a whole lot of pockets for your stash while you ride, but doesn't go overboard with the. The pockets are nice and fitted so they are not big old flaps while you ride around. The cargo and rear pockets have velcro so even the simplest of riders shold not have to worry about losing their house keys. The 3/4 length cut is great and comes just below the knees, so I did not have to worry about these being short shorts.
The are a really nice short, but these are not the baggy shorts many trail riders might be used to. They felt great riding cross country but they may be slightly restrictive once you start doing any dirt jumping or free riding. Although you could just jump up a size. The large fit my 36 inch waist perfectly though, and typically I find cycling stuff to be a little snug.
I am looking foreward to finally wearing these ones out, so I can get a new 2010 pair, but at the rate these are holding up I might not have to. Dakine is moving in strong on cycling.
