Trizophrenia
June 1, 2010

Triathletes amaze me. Swim, bike, run. All at excessive length. Jef Mallett has gone into the complex minds of triathletes in his new book Trizophrenia: Inside The Minds Of A Triathlete. When I first got this book I was kind of expecting a boring diatribe of the extremes that Triathletes go to and how great they are. In fact what I got was a serious, yet satirical look at just how far a Triathlete will go, and it sure makes for a great read.
Jef Mallett goes into great detail on things from the money tri guys spend to the way their brains operate. Combining great wit, detailed footnotes and comical cartoons. This book is a great read for any cyclist, swimmer, runner, tri geek, and probably your everyday average Joe who just needs a good laugh.
Don't get me wrong, this book has a serious side, it is just all wrapped up in an fun to read package. Probably the most fun I will have reading all year.
